Welcome to the Stamford Netball League Website
Celebrating its 45th year Stamford Netball League was established in June 1979 when a group of ladies got together to discuss the lack of sporting provision for women in Stamford. They were all keen netballers from school and wanted to create a friendly, social, community netball league.
Over the years the league has grown in numbers and is stronger than ever due to the increase in popularity of netball. We currently have 32 teams competing across 4 division's, & a league membership of over 250 players/umpires/coaches with an age range of 13 to 70.
The league encourages players & teams of all standard from Back To Netball to Premier/Regional League and is played on a Tuesday evening at Blackstones Sports & Social Club Stamford & Welland Academy Stamford.
The league also has links to fun & friendly netball sessions held on a Monday evening at Blackstones Sports & Social Club Stamford ran by Julie Owen. These sessions are good for ladies new to the area to meet new people.
